Scarborough Lunchtime Concerts take place every Thursday in a beautiful concert hall at Scarborough Library. With excellent disabled access, a lift up to the concert hall and comfortable seats, we offer a warm and welcoming environment to enjoy our amazing artists. What's more, our fantastic Bechstein Grand Piano and excellent acoustics provide for a wonderful sound.
When you come along to our concerts, you'll enjoy a relaxed, informal atmosphere with great music and the very best guest artists. The concerts only last for an hour and you want to just come along for part of the concert, please feel free.
Our Musical Director, Frank James, is a versatile and informative pianist and plays in many of the concerts, playing everything from the classics to jazz.
Maria presents the concerts and writes and narrates many of the popular life stories of composers and musicians.
The guest artists cover a wide spectrum of talents, from top class opera singers, instrumentalists and actors.
Our audience enjoy our friendly atmosohere and many friendships are made at the concerts.
